Chrome extension
Verify any email address, or find a work email from a name and company website, from a button in your browser. On a company's website the domain is filled in for you, and on LinkedIn profiles the person's name too. Right-click any email address on a page and choose Verify with Domailfix.
- Unzip it, open chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and choose the folder. (It will also be in the Chrome Web Store.)
- Click the Domailfix icon and paste the API key from your account page.
Clean a list in Mailchimp, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, MailerLite, Instantly, lemlist, Smartlead or Pipedrive
On your account page, open Clean a list in your email, outreach or CRM tool, choose the service, paste its API key, pick a list (or campaign) and click Check. Each contact uses 1 credit (Unknown is free). Your API key is used only for that check and never stored. Nothing is deleted. If you tick the box, Domailfix also marks the results there:
- Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign: a tag "Domailfix - undeliverable" on addresses that do not exist, temporary addresses and spam traps. Brevo, Klaviyo: a list with that name. MailerLite: a group with that name. Leave them out of your next campaign.
- Instantly, Smartlead: addresses that do not exist, and spam traps, go on your block list. lemlist: on your unsubscribe list. They will not be emailed again.
- Pipedrive: every person gets a field "Email status" (deliverable, undeliverable, risky or toxic). Pick All people or one of your filters.
- Where to find the keys: Mailchimp Profile → Extras → API keys. Brevo Settings → SMTP & API. ActiveCampaign Settings → Developer (also enter your account name). Klaviyo Settings → API keys → private key with Lists and Profiles access. MailerLite Integrations → MailerLite API. Instantly Settings → Integrations → API keys. lemlist Settings → Integrations → API. Smartlead Settings → API key. Pipedrive Personal preferences → API.
Website form widget
Stops fake, mistyped and temporary email addresses in any form: contact forms, sign-ups, checkout, newsletters. Visitors see a friendly message straight away, and typos like gmial.com get a "Did you mean" hint. If Domailfix cannot answer in time, the form is never blocked.
- On your account page, under Website form widget, add your website and click Save websites.
- Copy the code and paste it into your website, just before </body>:
<script src="https://domailfix.achivix.com/widget.js" data-key="pk_your_key" async></script>
- Choose what stops the form with data-block: invalid (addresses that do not exist), disposable, role (info@, sales@), free (Gmail, Yahoo) or risky. The default is invalid, disposable. Example for a business-only form:
<script src="https://domailfix.achivix.com/widget.js" data-key="pk_your_key" data-block="invalid,disposable,free" async></script>
The widget key only works on the websites you list, so it is safe to put in your pages. The same address is not charged twice within 15 minutes.
Shopify, Webflow, Wix and Squarespace
Add your shop or site's address under Website form widget on your account page first, then paste the widget code (above) here:
- Shopify: Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code → open theme.liquid → paste the code just before </body> → Save. Works on the contact, newsletter, sign-up and checkout-contact forms of your theme.
- Webflow: Site settings → Custom code → Footer code → paste → Save → Publish.
- Wix: Settings → Custom code (needs a premium plan and a connected domain) → Add Custom Code → paste, choose All pages, place it in Body - end → Apply.
- Squarespace: Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Footer → paste → Save (Business plan or higher).
- Framer, Carrd, Bubble and others: paste it wherever the builder lets you add code at the end of the page.
WordPress
Works with Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Elementor, WooCommerce checkout, comments and registration.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Activate.
- On your Domailfix account page, add your website under Website form widget and copy the key.
- In WordPress, go to Settings → Domailfix, paste the key, choose what to stop and click Save.
Google Sheets
- Open your sheet and choose Extensions → Apps Script.
- Delete what is there, paste the code from https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/google-sheets.gs and click Save.
- Reload the sheet. A Domailfix menu appears. Choose Set API key and paste the API key from your account page (Google asks you to allow the script once).
- Verify: select a column of email addresses, then Domailfix → Verify selected emails. Status, reason, score, accept-all score and typo fix appear in the next five columns.
- Find: select two columns, full name and company website, then Domailfix → Find emails.
Long lists pause after about 5 minutes (a Google limit); run it again to continue where it stopped.
Airtable
- Open your base → Extensions → Add an extension → Scripting.
- Delete the example, paste the script from https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/airtable-verify-emails.js and click Run.
- Pick the table, view, email field and a text field for the result, and paste your API key. Records that already have a result are skipped, so you can run it again any time.
Salesforce
Adds a Flow action Verify email with Domailfix (Enterprise edition and above).
- Store your API key in a Named Credential called Domailfix, add the two Apex classes, and call the action from a record-triggered Flow (in its Run Asynchronously path). The step-by-step guide is in the README inside the download.
API (for Zapier, Make, n8n, Pabbly Connect, Clay and your own software)
Send your API key in the header X-API-Key (or Authorization: Bearer).
- Verify one address:
GET https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify?email=priya@company.com X-API-Key: dmf_your_key
- Find a work email:
POST https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/find
X-API-Key: dmf_your_key
Content-Type: application/json
{"name": "Priya Sharma", "website": "company.com"}- Bulk list: POST /api/bulk with {"emails": [...]}, then GET /api/bulk/<id> for progress and GET /api/bulk/<id>/results?format=csv for the results.
Main fields in the answer: status (deliverable, undeliverable, risky, unknown), reason, score (0-100), accept_all_score (0-10, for accept-all companies), did_you_mean, and flags (disposable, role, free, accept_all, toxic). Toxic addresses (spam traps, abuse@, no-reply, misspelt or parked domains) are marked Risky with reason toxic; don't email them.
Zapier
With the Domailfix app: add an action step, search for Domailfix, choose Verify Email or Find Email, and connect with your API key. Then add a Filter step (for example, only continue if Status is deliverable) and send the contact on to your CRM or email tool.
Without the app (any Zapier plan with Webhooks): add Webhooks by Zapier → GET, URL https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify, query string email = your email field, header X-API-Key = your API key.
Zoho CRM
Verify each new lead's email automatically, and find missing emails from the lead's name and website. Uses a Zoho CRM workflow with a small function:
- Function to verify: https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/zoho-verify-lead.deluge
- Function to find: https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/zoho-find-lead.deluge
- Create two Lead fields, "Email Status" and "Email Score"; add an organization variable domailfix_api_key with your API key; create the function (argument leadId) and call it from a workflow rule when a lead is created. The full steps are at the top of each file.
HubSpot
Verify each new contact with a workflow Custom code step (needs HubSpot Data Hub, formerly Operations Hub, Professional). On other HubSpot plans, use the Zapier app.
- Code: https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/hubspot-verify-contact.js
- Add a secret DOMAILFIX_API_KEY, include the email property, paste the code, and add the outputs status, score, accept_all_score and did_you_mean. Then save status into a contact property with an Edit record step.
Make (Integromat)
- Domailfix app for Make: once it is published, search for Domailfix when adding a module.
- Today, with any Make plan: add an HTTP → Make a request module. URL: https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify, method GET, query string email = your email field, header X-API-Key = your API key, Parse response: Yes.
- Add a filter after it: status equal to deliverable.
n8n
- Ready-made workflow: download https://domailfix.achivix.com/integrations/n8n-workflow.json, then in n8n open a new workflow → … → Import from File. Put your API key in the Verify node and replace the first node with your own trigger.
- Or by hand: add an HTTP Request node: method GET, URL https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify, query parameter email, header X-API-Key. Then an IF node on status.
- Self-hosted n8n: install the community node n8n-nodes-domailfix (Settings → Community Nodes) once it is published, for Verify Email and Find Email steps.
Pabbly Connect
- Add the API by Pabbly action: method GET, URL https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify?email= followed by your email field, header X-API-Key = your API key. Then add a Filter on status.
Clay
- Add an HTTP API enrichment column: GET https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/verify?email=/Email/ with header X-API-Key. Map the status and accept_all_score fields into columns.
- To find emails, POST to https://domailfix.achivix.com/api/find with the person's name and company website.
