About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Achivix ("we") for your use of Domailfix. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service does

Domailfix checks whether an email address is likely to exist and accept mail. It does not send email.

Results are a best effort. Some companies accept every address, hide whether a mailbox exists, or do not answer. In those cases the result is shown as Likely valid, Risky or Unknown. We do not guarantee that a result is correct or that a message sent to an address will be delivered.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. Keep your password and API key secret; you are responsible for what is done with them. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.

Using the service responsibly

You agree that you will:

• only check email addresses that you have a lawful reason to hold and process, in line with the laws that apply to you (for example the GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and anti-spam laws);
• not use results to send unsolicited bulk email, to harass anyone, or for any unlawful purpose;
• not try to break, overload, copy or get around the limits of the service;
• not create several accounts to collect extra free credits.

For the addresses you submit, you are the party responsible for them and we act only on your instructions.

Credits and payment

• One credit checks one email address. Results marked Unknown are not charged.
• Finding an email address uses 2 credits when the address is confirmed and 1 credit for a likely match (an estimate). Nothing is charged when no address is found.
• Free credits are an allowance we may change or withdraw. They have no cash value.
• Bought credits are a one-time purchase, not a subscription. They do not expire while your account is open, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
• Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases. Taxes may be added where the law requires.
• Payments are handled by Cashfree Payments. All purchases are final: see our Refund Policy.

API and connectors

If you use the API or the AI connector, the same terms and limits apply. We may limit the rate of requests to keep the service reliable for everyone.

Suspending or closing accounts

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. If we ever plan to close the service itself, we will give account holders reasonable notice so that bought credits can be used first.

Our responsibility to you

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from acting on a verification result, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If a change is significant we will tell account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
